Park Circle

 
Located in North Charleston, Park Circle has undergone major restoration and boasts tree-lined sidewalks, ample restaurants, wine bars, and even a brewery. The heart of Park Circle is East Montague Avenue.
 

Cannonborough/Elliotborough

 
Located on the westside middle section of The Peninsula, Cannonborough and Elliotborough are two up-and-coming neighborhoods that attract young professionals, new families, and college students. The area is vibrant and has a strong sense of community, not to mention new hip restaurants are springing up here.
 

Harleston Village

 
Harleston Village is earning appeal as a swanky area with easy access to everything on The Peninsula. Centered near Colonial Lake, this area is popular for running and enjoying the great outdoors, not to mention the stunning classical architecture.
 

Wagener Terrace & Hampton Park

 
Terrace Both neighborhoods are located on the upper end of the downtown peninsula, and they are both quieter areas with charming homes. Mainly residential, both Wagener Terrace and Hampton Park Terrace still offer plenty to do, from restaurants to coffee shops and cocktail bars. Additionally, both neighborhoods are near Hampton Park, a beautiful park with trails.
 

Avondale

 
Located in the West Ashley area, towards the west of the downtown peninsula, Avondale is a popular spot. It is perfect for young professionals and also new families.
